Collection: Annie Darling

Annie Darling is a contemporary abstract painter inspired by mid-century modern design, the natural world, and the human form. Her work ranges from bold, colorful geometric compositions to moody, textural abstract landscapes that invite the imagination to roam. Her sensual, curvilinear pieces evoke the beauty of the human form in a deeply visceral way.

Annie explores themes of movement, transformation, and discovery, creating works that are ever-evolving and alive with curiosity.

Born in Chicago, she grew up surrounded by artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, designers, actors, and musicians—instilling in her a lifelong passion for creativity and self-discovery through art.

Her process is rooted in presence and flow, guided by inquiry and the unfolding challenges and opportunities each piece presents.

Annie studied fine art, graphic design, and industrial technology at the University of Oregon and the University of Southern Maine, earning a B.A. in Communications. She went on to own an award-winning design firm and a successful art-based stationery company. Her mixed media works are held in public, private, and corporate collections worldwide.
