Collection: Salatino-Gandolfo

Jean Salatino and Steven Gandolfo are a husband-and-wife team creating unique hand-carved glass vessels. Their work explores form, texture, light, and color through intricate techniques.

Steve blows the thick glass blanks, some designed specifically for Jean’s diamond-carving process. Inspired by nature, Jean’s carvings reveal facets and planes, transforming the glass into brilliant, light-catching forms. Steve’s sand-carved pieces feature layered colors and graphic designs, manipulating the transparency of glass to create dynamic overlays.

Each vessel is a meticulous process, taking up to 40 hours to complete, blending their skills into distinctive, stunning works of art. Based in Sonoma County, they have collaborated for over 20 years, bringing their passion for glassmaking to life while raising their daughter, Sofia.
